Charlotte and Sian dedicate their lives to building spaces and communities in which deep-feeling babes feel at home. Having both experienced mental health challenges, as well as just trying their best in a busy world, they understand the importance of building a life in which your soul feels at home.

What to expect:

  • Daily yoga, guided meditations and mindfulness practices for all abilities led by both Charlotte and Sian

  • Optional cold swimming in our beautiful bio-pool, followed by sauna, a nordic staple for wellbeing

  • Cosy evenings cuddled up by the log fire with your favourite craft or losing yourself in a juicy book, under the stars in our hot tub

  • Delicious vegetarian brunches and suppers, with plenty of nourishing and warming seasonal produce

  • Peaceful views of the Welsh countryside from every window in our beautifully renovated farmhouse

Your accommodation:

The setting for Slow Weekend Abergavenny is a beautifully converted family-run farm, complete with natural swimming pool, saunas and breathtaking views of Monmouthshire. Your boutique experience starts in the beautiful farmhouse, complete with cosy reading corners, raring log fires and boutique en-suite rooms fit for deep-sleep.

Room options:

Single bed in a twin or triple room, with en-suite: £625 all-inclusive.

Private double room, with Jack & Jill (shared) en-suite: £825 all-inclusive.

FAQ’S

  • Yes!

    Slow Weekend has been designed for ordinary people, by ordinary people. We will be sharing different wellness rituals and practices throughout the weekend for you to try…but there’s no expectations or judgements here. Slow weekend is a space for you to be whoever you need to be, what we share is simply an offering. All practices will have options and different access levels.

  • Slow Weekend is for anybody who is ready to surrender to a slower way of living and embrace the magic of the Autumn/Winter seasons! Across the weekend we will be sharing a rich variety of wellness practices including movement, journalling, meditation, joyful living and of course rest. There’s no need to have tried any of this before, beginners and curious-folk are welcome.

    And YES, you can come alone…most attendees do! These events have a way of bringing together like-minded souls, we guarantee you’ll be in fantastic company.

  • Think, packing for a sleepover! Your favourite pyjamas and comfy clothes, some warmer layers for outdoors, a book/kindle/craft you love. A journal if you have one! And a swimming costume and wooly hat if you’re braving a cold swim. All yoga, meditation and workshop materials will be provided…but if you love your own please bring them along. An official pack-list will be sent out closer to the time.

  • Accommodation for Slow Weekend Wales is on a traditional farm. There are stairs throughout the main buildings to access bedrooms.

    Daily movement classes are a blend of seated, standing and kneeling postures. As long as you’re able to come to stand and sit on the floor - you’ll be able to enjoy this class.

    Country walks are hilly but beautiful! If you’d like to take part in hiking, sturdy boots are essential.

  • Klarna is available at check-out for those who would prefer to split their investment across 3 interest-free monthly payments. We are currently unable to offer any payment plans outside of this service.

  • Travel to and from the retreat is not included in your ticket, however Charlotte and Sian will do their best to support your journey. There is ample parking at the Abergavenny venue, and Abergavenny train station is a short drive away. Closer to the time, you’ll have the option to be added to a group chat and arrange shared travel and/or transfers.

Sian was born to host these retreats - holding such a welcoming, cosy, safe and inclusive space with no expectations or judgement. Everything about Landing was perfect - it was a much needed pause button from everyday life, responsibilities and endless to-do lists! The day flowed so beautifully and the calm & cosy vibes never faltered - nothing ever felt rushed; it was clear that a lot of preparation, planning and thought had gone into the entire day - I loved everything about it and didn't want it to end!
