Retreat Booking Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to bookings for the Slow Weekend Retreat, 29 October to1 November 2026. By making a booking and paying your deposit, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.

1. Booking & Payment

Your place is confirmed once your full payment of £625 or £175 deposit has been received.

Where you choose to pay by instalments, you are booking a retreat place at the full advertised price, rather than purchasing a cancel-anytime subscription. Your remaining balance must be paid according to the payment schedule agreed at booking.

You are responsible for ensuring your payment method remains valid and that payments can be collected when due. If a payment fails, please contact us promptly to arrange an alternative.

2. Deposits & Cancellations

The £175 deposit secures your place and is non-refundable where you choose to cancel, subject to your statutory rights and applicable consumer law.

If you cancel after making further payments, any amount retained or remaining payable will reflect the costs and losses reasonably incurred as a result of your cancellation.

Where we are able to fill your place with another guest, this will be taken into account when calculating any amount due or refundable.

You may request to transfer your booking to another suitable guest with our prior agreement.

We strongly recommend taking out appropriate travel insurance covering cancellation, illness and other circumstances that may prevent you from attending.

3. Cancellation or Changes by Us

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel the retreat, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and explain the options available to you, including any refund to which you are entitled.

Occasionally, circumstances outside our control may require reasonable changes to the itinerary, activities, teachers, timings or other elements of the retreat. We will aim to provide a suitable alternative wherever reasonably possible.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

4. Health, Wellbeing & Participation

Our retreat includes activities such as yoga, movement, meditation and other wellbeing practices. Participation is voluntary and you are responsible for deciding whether an activity is appropriate for you.

Please tell us before the retreat about any relevant injuries, medical conditions, pregnancy, allergies or accessibility requirements that may affect your participation or that we reasonably need to know to provide the retreat safely.

Please follow any reasonable safety instructions provided by the retreat team, venue or activity leaders.

Our retreat activities are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

5. Conduct

Slow Weekend is intended to be a safe, welcoming and respectful environment.

We reserve the right to ask a guest to stop participating in an activity or, in serious circumstances, leave the retreat where their behaviour poses a safety risk, is abusive, discriminatory, threatening or significantly disrupts the experience of other guests.

6. Personal Belongings

Please take reasonable care of your personal belongings during the retreat. We cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal possessions except where this results from our negligence or where liability cannot legally be excluded.

7. Travel

Unless specifically stated as included in your booking, travel to and from the retreat venue is your responsibility. We are not responsible for your personal travel arrangements or associated costs if you are unable to attend.

8. Food, Allergies & Dietary Requirements

Please provide any dietary requirements and food allergies requested during the booking process.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requirements notified to us in advance, but we cannot guarantee an entirely allergen-free environment.

9. Photography

We may take photographs or video during the retreat for Dwtylife marketing and social media. Photographs and videos will not be taken during yoga practices.We will respect anyone who does not wish to be photographed or filmed, simply let us know.

10. Liability

We will provide the retreat with reasonable care and skill.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Guests remain responsible for their own actions, personal travel arrangements and compliance with reasonable health and safety instructions.

11. Agreement

By completing your booking and paying your deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Retreat Booking Terms & Conditions.

These terms do not affect your statutory consumer rights.
